"In a world that is often portrayed as light and dreamy, I wanted something to represent the opposite. The spiral of pain, challenge, continuum. The start of my knee surgery recovery was the hardest - my support network seemed to drop off, people would check in less. keep living their lives. I could hardly drag myself out of bed to do physio, surrounded by travellers surfing the breaks that I used to surf. When I asked my surgeon if I’d ever surf again, he would say: ‘I hope so.’But hope was little, and the spiral of pain is something less spoken of. This ring represents the hope that you might need to keep going, when there is no light at the end of the tunnel, when all hope is lost. This ring represents that pain is inevitable, and sometimes the world is a dark place; but you are not alone in the darkness.The ring is called Gari - The Dharawal meaning of snake"

Hehe, this one had a journey. The creation phase was really tough.

We recarved it from scratch 4 times and adjusted it 9 more times. We kept missing up the balance of roughness, we made it too bulky, the snake was too flat then it stuck out too much. the lines on the snake were too clean, and then tooo rough...

The drawing was reworked and redrawn multiple times by 3 different people before we even started crafting. Tahnee, Sib then finally Sib’s mom. Probably the hardest piece we’ve created to date, I still wanted to edit it one last time before dropping it.

Even though it was finalised by my hands, 90% of the work was thanks to the man we call the grandchild. This piece is not perfect. But it also is, much like all of our journeys in this life. It became what it was meant to become.

This piece is handcrafted from 100% recycled 925 sterling silver.

We import 100% certified recycled sterling silver which is refined until it is 30% stronger than traditional silver, and four times more corrosion resistant. This is tested and certified.

Our oldschool matchbox-style packaging is made from 100% recycled card and printed with soy-based inks. It also includes our organic cotton bag, polishing cloth, and a note sharing the story behind the craft.

Got the wrong size, not happy with the piece, or want to change to a different one? No worries!

1. Refunds/exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving the package.

2. All items must be returned in the condition in which they were received, brand new, unused and inside their original packaging. (For cuffs, this means they cannot have been bent)

3. We are happy to exchange the piece for a different style, as long as the price differences are paid for.

4. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

5. We recommend purchasing the desired exchange piece to avoid the stock selling out while we are waiting for the exchange piece to come back.

6. Sale items & personalised (engraved) items are non-refundable.

7. If the item has arrived damaged we must be notified within hours of the package being received.
