"In Hawai’i, a lei lā’ī is often braided to honor advancing into a new phase of life. It is also a symbol of love, protection and abundance. For ocean people, when a loved one passes on from this life, we collectively paddle out to sea to release our lei in celebration of their life. I have a memory from my youth, experiencing the emotions at one of these celebrations. “Corridors of time”. . . I remember these words running through my adolescent mind as I watched the lei drifting out to the horizon. Many years later, those words are still inspiring me and they now live in this piece. We must honor these corridors and generations, those who came before us and paved the way. Those who lead us to know kindness and inspire us every day to be brave and humble. Got the wrong size, not happy with the piece, or want to change to a different one? No worries!

1. Refunds/exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving the package.

2. All items must be returned in the condition in which they were received, brand new, unused and inside their original packaging. (For cuffs, this means they cannot have been bent)

3. We are happy to exchange the piece for a different style, as long as the price differences are paid for.

4. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

5. We recommend purchasing the desired exchange piece to avoid the stock selling out while we are waiting for the exchange piece to come back.

6. Sale items are non-refundable.

7. If the item has arrived damaged we must be notified within hours of the package being received.

8. We are not responsible for loss or damage during return shipment.

9. For USA orders, refunds are issued less 20% for the tariff payment.

10. For USA returns, the customer must pay tariffs required for the return shipment.

SIZING

For a neck that is a touch masculine, we advise the 55cm and beware of the 37cm... It can choke.

Then for a more feminine neck, we advise around 44cm and below unless you’re feeling extra ‘street’.

The chart below was depicted from top-secret Nasa documents. Turns out, sometimes length and girth does matter.

All of them can be adjusted slightly.

MATERIALS & DURABILITY

The core of this piece is made from 100% recycled sterling silver, certifiably tested to be about 30% stronger and 4x more corrosion resistant than standard silver.

The gold plating is 3.5 microns of 24k gold, thicker than most plating, and includes an extra layer of 18k gold for strength and shine.

Our oldschool matchbox-style packaging is made from 100% recycled card and printed with soy-based inks. It also includes our organic cotton bag, polishing cloth, and a little more.

The Miyashiro Collection

I’ll be honest... When I first bumped into Chris Miyashiro, all I saw was someone who had a nice feel and could skate, haha. And that’s all that was planned; to maybe do a little video together.

In the end, he helped create and poured his heart into one of the most beautiful collections we’ve had the pleasure of working on. Chris is a true dreamer, wondering and playing in every passage of life.
