HOTEI
A wanderer of life and death, one of the seven lucky gods of Japan. Hotei is favored by children, leading them through darkness. Such is his compassion that artworks depict him carrying demons across the river to protect them.
This piece at its core, for me, is about flow and inner strength. Allowing your emotions to flow freely, with the clarity of a samurai and strength of a sumo. Allowing love to flow freely, not letting the mind interrupt or label, with no worry about what comes next.
Its design was inspired by an old Japanese samurai film, The Seven Samurai. So I give all my credit for the design there. The meaning ties in closer to my journey and realizing I’d been loving wrong my entire life.
I hope this piece helps you find strength in your emotions and allows you to let them flow as gently as a river or as fast as a rapid and that you find beauty and joy in such freedom.

Got the wrong size, not happy with the piece, or want to change to a different one? No worries!

1. Refunds/exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving the package.

2. All items must be returned in the condition in which they were received, brand new, unused and inside their original packaging. (For cuffs, this means they cannot have been bent)

3. We are happy to exchange the piece for a different style, as long as the price differences are paid for.

4. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

5. We recommend purchasing the desired exchange piece to avoid the stock selling out while we are waiting for the exchange piece to come back.

6. Sale items are non-refundable.

7. If the item has arrived damaged we must be notified within hours of the package being received.

8. We are not responsible for loss or damage during return shipment.

9. For USA orders, refunds are issued less 20% for the tariff payment.

10. For USA returns, the customer must pay tariffs required for the return shipment.

SIZING

Our small hoops are 12mm, and our larger hoops are 14mm. If you want a tighter, more snug fit, or your piercing location is closer to the edge of the ear, go for the 12mm.

Otherwise, we would reccommend the larger 14mm hoop. Everyone's ears are different, but most people should fit the 14mm size best.

This piece is handcrafted from 100% recycled sterling silver.

We import 100% certified recycled sterling silver which is refined until it is 30% stronger than traditional silver, and four times more corrosion resistant. This is tested and certified.

Our oldschool matchbox-style packaging is made from 100% recycled card and printed with soy-based inks. It also includes our organic cotton bag, polishing cloth, and a little more.

PRODUCT INFO

A pair of handcrafted earrings made from solid 925 sterling silver. Each earring is composed of two pieces that fit seamlessly together but can slide apart to reveal a dagger within. The finish on the earrings is smooth with a slight porous texture and a gentle concave shape that brings it to a subtle point.
