The phoenix is wreathed in the myths and legends of cultures around the globe. Some say the tale of this mythical bird spun forth from Ancient Egyptian legend; the ba of Ra (The Bennu) that flew across the waters of Nun, landed upon a single rock and issued a call that brought the world into being. In other cultures this creature of the sun is said to live hundreds of years, before engulfing itself in a pyre of flame and emerging forth from the ashes anew. A symbol of eternity, strength and renewal, the Phoenix came to symbolise the Eternal City of Rome, depicted on the coins of the last Roman Empire. Like the bird itself, the tale of the phoenix endures on, even after the fall of empires. Perhaps this is because its story of rebirth and renewal is a story of hope. Hope not just for oneself, but for humanity and the world we live in.

SIZING

For a neck that is a touch masculine, we advise the 55cm and beware of the 37cm... It can choke.

Then for a more feminine neck, we advise around 44cm and below unless you’re feeling extra ‘street’.

The chart below was depicted from top-secret Nasa documents. Turns out, sometimes length and girth does matter.

All of them can be adjusted slightly.

This collection is handcrafted with 100% certified 925 sterling silver.

THE PIECES ARE SWEAT-PROOF, WATER-PROOF and OCEAN-PROOF.

With durability in mind, we source our pure recycled silver from a leading
Belgian / German company, where it is refined at 330ppt oxygen level – crucial to crafting a high quality product. Our silver is refined slightly above the 92.5% silver mark making each piece is actually 93% silver. We also use some methods that help make it slightly stronger than your traditional sterling, and four times more corrosion resistant, which has been certifiably tested.

These little goodies are then carefully packed away in an old-school matchbox that we crafted from recycled cardboard, with an organic cotton canvas bag, our signature silver polish cloth, n’ a little more...

SHIPPING
All orders received will be shipped in 24-48hrs. Work days are Monday to
Friday 9am to 5pm. Orders on weekends are processed Monday.

In the event of a failed delivery or Return to Sender due to an incomplete address or unknown location, Salty Dagger will charge a $30 AUD fee to cover the costs of returning and resending the package.

Australia has a few different free trade agreements with countries like USA - New Zealand - Japan. For other countries, only sales over a certain amount get taxed. The threshold is usually around $160-$200 AUD. Double check your country and its import tax so no surprises pop up.
